Our mission
More than half of Guinea Bissau's population lives below the poverty line. Harsh living conditions, diverse populations, cultures and more, have resulted in terrible living conditions. Children suffer from hunger, lack of medical support and lack of education. With your participation, we can give them the future they deserve.

Why the children of Guinea Bissau need our help
- 1High mortality rateIn Africa, 67 children out of 1,000 do not survive to the age of five, mostly from preventable circumstances. Although mortality statistics have improved in recent decades, 19,189 children died in 2018 alone.
- 2Lack of education770,000 children aged 5 to 12 are not in school. School attendance under 10 years of age is still below 51 per cent. The reasons for low school attendance are poverty, financial hardship, forced migration and child labour.
- 3Harsh conditions and low government supportThe state because of its carelessness does not know how to help, also the low level of medicine and other factors give a high percentage of mortality every 5th child can be orphaned.
